Edit and submit a Mumie exercise

Activities "Mumie course" and "Mumie exercise" in Moodle

  • Log in to Moodle as a student and navigate to your course. If you're not yet a member of the Moodle course, you are enrolled to the course and additionally transferred to the Mumie.
  • a). "Mumie course": Click on the already created "Mumie course" in the Moodle course overview. Either the index page with the Mumie worksheets and exercises or the course in the Mumie appears. Navigate to the exercise you want to edit.
  • b). "Mumie exercise": Click on the already created "Mumie exercise" in the Moodle course overview. You come directly to the attached exercise.
  • Edit the exercise and save its solution. The Mumie corrects the exercise automatically and transfers the result back to the gradebook in Moodle.

h3. Gradebook

  • Log in to Moodle as a student and navigate to your course.
  • Click on the link to the gradebook in the Moodle course overview. (New grades are indicated in the block "Recent activities" in the course overview).
  • The gradebook appears: you can see all your grades in this Moodle course. Grades of the attached Mumie exercises, Moodle quizzes and assignments are presented in a central place. There is one column per Mumie exercise (or quiz, assignment).

  • If you click on the name of a Mumie exercise (column header) in the gradebook, you get more information about the result.

Grades in the activity "Mumie course"

  • Log in to Moodle as a student and navigate to your course.
  • Click on the activity "Mumie course" in the Moodle course overview. (New grades are indicated in the block "Recent activities" in the course overview).
  • Click on the link "Show Results" on the next screen.
  • The grades are displayed: you can see the corrected scores for all your exercises of the attached Mumie course. There is one column per Mumie exercise. Students can only see results of exercises which closing time have expired. The grades table looks similar to the gradebook.
  • To see the feedback and further information about a result, you can click on one of the links in the grades table.
  • The feedback for the result appears: In the first column there is your solution, in the second column the correct solution and in the third column further explanations.

Grades in the activity "Mumie exercise"

  • Log in to Moodle as a student and navigate to your course.
  • In the Moodle course overview click on the activity “Mumie exercise”. (New grades are indicated in the block "Recent activities" in the course overview).
  • In the next screen the Mumie exercise is displayed. If the closing time is already expired, the result is presented above the exercise.

  • To see the feedback and further information about the result, you can click on the grade link.
  • The feedback for the result appears: In the first column there is your solution, in the second column the correct solution and in the third column further explanations.
