How to import an image¶
Step 1: Import the image into the MUMIE-Files System:- Open the directory where you want the image to be, per default .../media/images.
- Go to Menue -> File -> Import from File System: A new windows open up with title "Import"
- Go to Mumie -> Import File, click "Next": a new windows upon up, select "Image file" and click "Next"
- Go to the directory where the image is (browsing) and select image (PNG, JPEG, etc) and give it a name and click on "Finish"
Step 2: Insert the image into one or several MUMIE documents:
either
- Open the document with Mumie Tex Editor and go to the card "Content Block"
- Click on the top of the editor to "Media" Components.
- In the following dialog you can select whether to create a new reference, or an existing use
.
- Create a new one: In the new window "Add new document reference" remove all ticks except the one on image.
- Open the document with Mumie Tex Editor and go to the card "Meta Information"
- Click on "Add" Components. In the new window "Add new document reference" remove all ticks except the one on image.
- Add for further reference an LID e.g. "image1"
- Select the image you want to insert and press "OK"
- Go to index tab "Content Block" and write at the place you want the image to be \image{image1}
- Compile the document and press "Preview" to check the result.
